It makes me very very happy to go out and add to the median. So in this post I will catch up on what I have added in over a handful of weeks. On the truck here all you see is the Fascicularia bicolor and a bunch of Aeoniums. But I finally added several Agave parryi, including a large heavy one, several clumps of Agave fillifera finally got installed from being salvaged from O'Shaughnessy Green plowing in January. So the pictures below show the agaves, the euphorbias and the Arctotis in its' first attempts to flower. Things are looking good I will say, but I am nervous about the water issue for the newer plantings. I have to haul it all in at this point and I hope I can keep up....
There is what appears to be water infrastructure present, but non working. PUC I hope can be my friend once the adoption is final!
But I love to see how adaptable succulents can be.
This picture of the Graptoveria ‘Fred Ives' (seen to the left) shows what happens when the growing tip, for one reason or another, gets damaged. It doesn't give up, die back or complain. Instead it sends out a few new growing tips and will be amazing in a few weeks time. I will do a check-in when it looks significant- although to me this is significant as it is!
