Marcia and Ted were kind enough to let me take a try at removing some offsets- or as Marcia says, progenies- from their big ol Agave americanas in their yard south of here. Challenging due to the many 1/4 inch drip lines and the low voltage wiring. I hit one 1/4 inch line but repaired it straight away with the aid of a new end dripper Ted had handy. Finally, I feel comfortable adding new plants as I met the DPW water truck guy last Sunday doing his every other week job. He was nice and had the hose spraying out the sparkling life force. Perfect.
